U+ UE 4/5 Generic
Available in Ultra+ Manager (UPM) 2.0.0, Generic lets you add Unreal Engine 4 or Unreal Engine 5 games that do not have an official Ultra+ mod. It provides a broad set of settings so you can find what works for you in each game.
What Generic provides
- Standard fixes for borderless mode, ultrawide support, and unlocked cutscenes
- An option to force engine HDR on
- Standardized UE5 shadow, global illumination (GI), reflection, and some effects settings
- Generic console variable (CVar) changes
- Settings to experiment with and tailor to your game, rather than a game-specific configuration
The available results depend on the game; compatibility does not mean every setting or fix will work in every title.
Install with UPM
- Open Ultra+ Manager 2.0.0 or later
- Select Add Manual Game
- Select the game’s executable or installation folder
- Select UE4 or UE5 to match the game’s engine
- Install the mod using the usual Install Ultra+ workflow in UPM
For the general installation workflow, see Quick Start.
Configure your game
Use UPM to explore the available settings and find a configuration that works for your game. Read each setting’s description, including any restart requirements.
See Configuration for applying changes, using presets, and saving your own configurations. Generic is not a guarantee of the same results as an official game-specific Ultra+ mod.
Game compatibility
These lists record the currently reported compatibility of Generic, not official game-specific Ultra+ support. A game not listed here has no compatibility status recorded on this page.
